Tirol Sets a Bold Milestone in Women’s Cycling

Women's cycling is booming worldwide—and Tirol is now making a powerful statement. With the founding of the Tirol Women Cycling Team, a new platform is emerging for athletes who combine elite sporting performance with a passion for our mountain landscape.

Our Roots, Our Strength

The Tirol Women Cycling Team is backed by a well-known foundation: the team stems from the long-standing experience and stable structures of the Union Raiffeisen Radteam Tirol. What has served for years as a successful talent factory and a cornerstone of Tyrolean cycling is now taking a new, specialized direction.

Union Raiffeisen Radteam Tirol: Acts as the historical and structural "root." It provides the club base and is deeply anchored in Tyrolean cycling and youth development.
Tirol KTM Cycling Team: The established men’s U23 team (Continental status) serves as the blueprint for professionalism and international networking.
Tirol Women Cycling: The new "flagship project" (also Continental status) is a cooperation between these two teams. it closes the gap in women’s cycling and aims to enable talented riders to make the leap into the World Tour.

We see ourselves as a bridge between regional talent and the international racing scene. Our goal is to provide Tyrolean riders and ambitious international athletes with an environment where professionalism and team spirit come first.

Focus on Development: We provide targeted support for young talent and offer experienced riders the stage they deserve.
Tyrolean Identity: Our home is our training ground. We carry the pride of the Alps on our jerseys at every race, both at home and abroad.
Professional Support: Thanks to the connection with the Union Raiffeisen Radteam Tirol and the Tirol KTM Cycling Team, we have access to first-class equipment, sports science support, and an experienced staff led by Alexander Kreidl.
