An intense and exciting race weekend lies ahead for the Tirol Women Cycling Team, with our riders competing on two fronts.
UCI Stage Race Gracia Orlova
Six of our ten riders will represent the team at the renowned UCI stage race Gracia Orlova. We head to the start with a strong and motivated lineup:
Tabea Huys
Nela Kankovska
Liv Wenzel
Amalie Cooper
Liv Sanarini
Ramona Grießer
The team will be supported on site by sports director Alexander Kreidl and Michael Laimer an Martin Pfurtscheller.
The race features a high-level international field and presents both physical and tactical challenges. Our goal is to actively shape the race and gain valuable experience at UCI level.
National Races in Lower Austria
At the same time, our remaining riders will compete in two national events in Lower Austria.
On Saturday, they will race the Erlauftal Radhaus Sprint, followed by the Erlauftal Cycling Days as part of the Road Cycling League on Sunday.
Taking to the start are:
Belinda Holzer
Franziska Ehrenreich
Jennifer Pesendorfer
Jana Meus
They will be accompanied by sports director Florian Vesely and Katharina Kreidl.
The focus for the weekend is on aggressive racing, going on the offensive, and aiming for podium positions as well as valuable points for the national series.
Team Spirit on Two Fronts
Even though the team is split across two race locations this weekend, one thing remains the same: our strong team spirit and the determination to give our best in every race.
We’re looking forward to exciting competitions, keeping our fingers crossed for all our riders, and will keep you updated with the results!
